What changed?
SubSplit previously offered YouTube Premium using shared family-plan access. That model has been retired. New YouTube Premium orders now use a personal-account model: the plan is purchased or activated on the Google/YouTube account you want to use.
This means the offer is no longer based on receiving one slot from a SubSplit-managed family plan. The Individual and Family products are now separate, with separate prices and their own product pages.
Individual or Family — which should you pick?
YouTube Premium Individual — $4/month
Choose Individual if the subscription is for your own Google/YouTube account and you do not need the Family plan. It is the lower-priced option, starting at $4 for one month or $41 for twelve months.
YouTube Premium Family — $6/month
Choose Family if you specifically want the YouTube Premium Family plan purchased on your personal Google/YouTube account. This is a separate product from Individual; it is not a shared SubSplit slot. YouTube requires the family manager and members to live at the same residential address, and country or existing family-group restrictions can affect eligibility. Why doesn't it show in Nigeria anymore?
The new YouTube Premium products are intentionally limited to SubSplit's international storefront. If your storefront is set to Nigeria, YouTube Premium Individual and Family will not appear in the live catalogue and checkout will not accept an NG-market order for them.
